Due to the hard work and dedication of the students, as well as the support from the Barrington community, BHS-TV has become a highly successful video program at the high school level. Students in BHS-TV have raised significant funds for charitable causes and have received numerous awards from the National Television Academy for their exceptional work. The program has also been recognized as the Best News Program in the Midwest on multiple occasions. In 2015 and 2016, the program was even invited to participate in the White House Film Festival by President Obama.
